Before Community Readers Day began at Watson Williams, families enjoyed breakfast with books, where parents read alongside their children.
This special program creates a welcoming start to the school day by bringing students, families and literacy together. Classrooms and hallways were decorated for the occasion, and everyone loved voting on which hallway showed the most creativity and holiday spirit. Many families also took part in arts and crafts and enjoyed taking photos with the special backdrop. Events like this strengthen the home-to-school connection and help build a lifelong love of reading in our students. Thank you to all who joined us!
